Hey all- great news! GHSA has approved for our County championship to be swam on Friday! 

So this means- all athletes will be excused from school on Friday. They will need to be at the CAC by 7:45AM. The meet will run exactly like it would have on Saturday with the exception of the Senior recognition being moved to the break at the 50 during finals. a tentative timeline: 

8:00am-9:00am- Swim Warm-ups – assigned times and lanes

9:15am- Swimming Preliminaries

1:30pm- Dive Warm-ups

2:45 pm- Dive Competition starts. 6 dive format only. Entries due on Divemeets.com, NO DECK ENTRIES

3:45 pm-5:15 pm- Finals Swim Warm-ups – assigned times and lanes

5:45 pm- Swimming Timed Finals

9:15pm- Approximate conclusion of the event.

- Senior recognition will now happen during the break at the 50 free during finals to ensure all senior parents can be there. Senior parents will need to be there by 6PM to make sure they do not miss walking their child. 

I know this is not the ideal situation BUT this is best case scenario with the state entry deadline soon approaching.
